The electroacoustic and computer parts

A mixing desk to control instrumental amplification and computer volume should be placed in the audience in an ideal listening position.

Equality in volume level should be maintained between the acoustic and electroacoustic materials.

One computer is required (G4 400 Mhz), installed with an 8-track sound card.

A fifth performer is in control of the live signal processing, and this person should rehearse with the quartet. The play back of soundfiles is contolled by one percussionist with a midi drum-pad.

MSP (MAX signal processing)

MAX/MSP software is used for signal processing and soundfile playback.
